Emmanuel Ogbah Returns to Kansas City Chiefs on One-Year Deal



Emmanuel Ogbah is heading back to Kansas City. The veteran defensive end has agreed to a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, bringing him back to the franchise he helped win a Super Bowl with in 2020.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Ogbah and the Chiefs have reached an agreement ahead of the start of the NFL preseason.

Emmanuel Ogbah Rejoins the Chiefs

Ogbah is no stranger to Kansas City. The defensive end previously played for the Chiefs during the 2020 NFL season, contributing to the team's championship-winning campaign.

His return gives Kansas City an experienced defensive lineman with familiarity with the organization and its defensive system.

Ogbah originally joined the Chiefs after spending the first three seasons of his NFL career with the Cleveland Browns. Kansas City acquired him via trade, giving the former second-round draft pick an opportunity to continue his career with a Super Bowl contender.
