Leadership in 2018
Experts surveyed by The Conference Board say artificial intelligence (AI) will have a big impact on leadership in 2018. Nearly two-thirds (63%) of senior executives believe AI technology will enable new business models and change how people work, leading to new roles for humans in work organizations. One-third of respondents say they have already invested or plan to invest in AI, while 49% report that they have not yet begun to explore investment options. While senior executives may be planning their AI strategies now, there is some uncertainty about what path forward best fits their organization: Only 26% say they completely understand how AI will affect their industry, organization or role.
