Why Delta must not remain in Egypt

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos on Tuesday, May 18th, launched a cashless "First and Last Mile" bus scheme in the state to salvage indigenes wants for free-flow movement due to restriction of the operations of tricycles and motorcycles in six local government areas and nine local council development areas.

Expectably, the buses which were also assembled in Lagos are to operate a central ticketing and cashless system, connect community routes to major BRT bus stops, terminals as well as train stations.
As INNOVATIVE and WELL ORGANIZED Babajide's initiative and the Lagos state transport has turned, one begin to wonder what the problems of the oil-rich Delta are. An act that has prompted me to ask if the political leadership in the big heart of our nation will ever take a new shape?
From cancellation of Uduaghan's bus which left all Parks built with millions of naira useless, defaced the beauty of cities where parks are sited, to poorly managed Delta Line transport system, Delta's retrogressive style of leadership should not only worry the mind, but also bring to fore, the question 'if our days in Egypt will ever comes to an end?

Deltans, it is now.
