Why DSTV Should Reduce Subscription During The Period Of Covid19 In Nigeria

With the increase in subscribers in Netflix, HBO and Youtube Premium, the doors seem to be closing in on (Multichoice)DSTV,. The above mention streaming services are using pay per view in their services but DSTV is not doing such especially in Nigeria and some other African Countries.
As Corona-virus pandemic is biting hard on the world's economy, leading to the cancellation of numerous sporting activities and events, hence, the lack of new sport programs on DSTV, one has to wonder, why the increment of their subscription price instead of the
reduction of their subscription due to massive reduction in engaging programs like sports and its likes.
Should these countries mentioned above pay more for reduced contents and programs or pay less for reduced contents and program due to the effect of cancellation of events and the Covid-19 lock down?
As subscribers of DSTV are trooping to other streaming services, to satisfy their viewing longing, subscription price reduction is sine qua none for DSTV survival in the business.
As More and more Nigerians are looking at stream their Netflix account and programs, thereby taking them away from DSTV, there may be huge loss of "eyeballs" as Netflix gains over 16 million new subscribers per quarter.
