Sporadic Gunshots In Bayelsa Over Who To Swear In

The tide turned yesterday when supreme court gave its verdict annulling the election of Governor Elect David Lyon on February 13th 2020 and upheld that of Diri over the certificate fraud of Deputy Governor Elect.
This led to some youths taking to the street to protest the judgement chanting no David Lyon, no Governor in Bayelsa State. It was really a state of frightful aura and danger said an onlooker. Some shots where fired that day.
According to some onlookers on the street, when Douye Diri received his certificate of return
from INEC, some youths went on rampage today to burn PDP secretariat and shot sporadically into the air.
Bayelsa state governor may have declared a state of emergency. to calm the nerve of the irate youths.
