Breaking News :Man Killed His Mother-In-Law Before Killing Himself
The residents of Ugborikoko Road was thrown into pandemonium in the early hours of the New Year Day Celebration. A man killed his mother-in-law and killed himself afterwards.
According to reports, the man(unnamed as at the time of this report) lay in wait for his mother-in-law, by Arubaye street in the wee hours of the morning and attacked her with machete, as she was was returning from her cross-over church service. He butchered her to death. And latter killed himself by taking poison.
Some residents that spoke on the mather has this to say:
"Resident A" said that the guy in question recently came back from Ghana and in some instance would shout, "blood, I dey see blood", It seems the man was involved in some
ritualistic activity, he parted by saying, that guy must be a yahoo boy, you know how they behave.
"Resident B" said that it was about an issue about their relationship, the man wanted to divorce his wife but the mother-in-law would not accept the divorce, which inturn led to the frustration of the man and he snapped.
"Resident C" said the guy is a drug addict and that was what lead to his recent unholy activity of murder.
As at the time of this report, the mother-in-law has been taken to the motuary and the body of the dead man was still laying on the floor .
All effort to reach the LGA Chairman was abortive.
