Integrity, A Tool To Building Social Capital - Omatsuli Onuwaje

Hello there, it's a great day!

Today, I want to share with you on the subject of Integrity.

Just last week, Mrs Josephine Ugwu; a former cleaner at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos received a presidential award for exhibiting integrity in performance of her public duties.

She had on different occasions returned millions of naira found in the course of her duty, including the sum of 12 million dollars forgotten in the toilet by an airport user.

She chose to be upright and transparent in attitude in a clime that is plagued with corruption.

What is integrity and why is this value of great importance?

Integrity is the practice of being honest and showing a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values.

It is doing the right thing irrespective of how many people around you are doing the wrong thing.

Integrity is intentionality of character.

Integrity is the bedrock of all principles and values.

Integrity is the greatest tool to building social capital.

Integrity is meaning what you say and saying what you mean.

Integrity is consistency and conformity of your attitude and character to your existing beliefs and value system.

In whatever you do, choose integrity.

Live with integrity in all you do today and everyday.

Do have a blessed week!

To Your Success,
Omatsuli Onuwaje.
