6th October 2019 : The Clash has moved to Obahor Street as there have been some recorded stabbings and machete cuts on the assailants. This is gradually becoming a crises zone and the government is helpless in trying to curb the issue as aggrieved parties refused to down their tools.....!

5th October 2019: Warri is at it again, as the embers of crises is being fanned and the seed of discord lay its first sprout.
It was gathered by yours truly that the Urhobos has placed a road blockade in Okere-market, idimi-sobo, even the revered Okere Roundabout(an ancestral spot of Itsekiris) before the early hours of today. We will keep you abreast with the updates of this stories

If an Urhobo Ovie died should the dead monarch be morned by closure of roads and market in Olu of Warri Kingdom, without first asking for permission from the Olu of Warri?

Now i understand why someone said it is a biased write up. So you mean if permission is not sought from the Olu of Warri, the result should be bloodshed? We have a very long way to go

ReplyDeleteThis poster is demented. The urhobos are the majority in warri. It was politics that made up the title that was supposed to be the Olu of Itsekiri to be the Olu of warri. I wonder why an urhobo will seek permission from the Olu of itsekiri.
