22-year-old mother who 'couldn't deal with life' found on her lounge floor 11 days after she died

A young mother who 'couldn't deal with life' was found on her lounge floor 11 days after she died, an inquest heard.

22-year-old April Beresford from Birmingham, was found dead at her home on Sunday, August 11, but it is thought she died on or around July 31, according to Mail Online.

At an inquest on Friday, September 13, her heartbroken mother described her as 'kind and
loving' and 'top of the world' on her better days, but 'when she was low, she was really low'.

Ruth Beresford said: 'She couldn't deal with life,' the Daily Mirror reported.

'When her mental health was good she was top of the world. She was a really bouncy loud person, when she was on a high she was on a high and when she was low, she was really low.'

Ms. Beresford added that her daughter 'left a mark' on people because she was 'loud' and 'in your face'.

At the time of her death, her mother said she was not close with her family because she 'kept pushing everybody away'.

It was also reported that the Birmingham Coroner's Court decided to return an open verdict at an inquest into her death after being unable to establish how she died.

Ms. Beresford's family are now pleading for support to raise £2,000 through GoFundMe for her daughter's future.

The appeal reads: 'April was a kind loving daughter, mother to a four year old, a little and big sister and auntie who was so full of life and brought so much love and joy to everyone April met in life. 'We all dedicate this fund to April and her young daughter.

'April was a drifter but always bounced back to her grass roots until one day she did not bounce back and April fell to sleep and went with the angels R.I.P our ANGEL April.
