Why I won – Ereyetomi By Jimitota Onoyume
WARRI—HOUSE of Representatives member-elect for Warri federal constituency, Chief Thomas Ereyetomi, has dismissed allegations of rigging levelled against him, saying he won the election on the strength of his popularity and programmes for the constituency. Ereyetomi, through Chief Robinson Ariyo in Warri, Delta State, also enjoined those who
contested with him to work with him to take the constituency to greater heights, assuring that as a member of the House of Representatives he would promote several empowerment programmes for youths and women. “We will be in touch with the people, work with community based organisations to drive development in the communities and I will build capacity among the people and roll out various empowerment programmes to strengthen the economy of the area,” he added.
