Gov. Okowa Commissions Housing Units In Benin River Today + Photos
Development may have eluded some cities but it found its way to the creeks.
It was a carnival-like setting today in Uboro and Utonlila communities of Warri North Local Government area of Delta State as the State Governor commissioned various projects in both communities under it's intervention agency, DESOPADEC( Delta State Oils Producing Area Commission) under the able
leadership of Hon Godwin Ebosa.
Speaking during the commissioning of the 24units twin 2 bedroom flats, water treatment plant, street lights, Concrete jetty, 1km concrete walkway, Iron Bridge connecting both communities, 50 35kv powered engine fishing boats made of fiber and a public primary/secondary school as part of the first batch of completed projects, Gov Okowa who also doubles as the PDP candidate for the 2019 gubernatorial election once again reiterated his administration's effort in uplifting the social economic welfare and security of Deltans has also promised to do more when re-elected saying that there is more to do.
The event was graced by representative of his Majesty Ogiame Ikenwoli, the Olu of Warri. Palace chiefs amongst, Sen James Manager (Delta South), Daniel Mayuku (WSW-DSHA) Micheal Diden (WN-DSHA), Emma Aduge (chairman, Warri North), Hon Omatsola William, Engr Victor Wood( ED research, DESOPADEC) , Mofe Pirah( Itsekiri Rep, DESOPADEC), Chief Thomas Ereyitomi(member elect, warri federal constituency) George Ekpemukpolo, Chief Robinson Ariyo, Dr Ireyefoju, Chief Ekpoko (Chairman ILOT) among other Top government officials and others.
