Nigerian ambassador to Qatar, Abdullahi Wase has died

The Nigerian Ambassador to Doha, Qatar, Abdullahi Wase is dead.

The diplomat who hails from Plateau state has also been buried in Doha at 7.pm Nigeria time as confirmed by Tope Elias-Fatile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman who said that Wase had been sick until his death.  

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, was reportedly shocked to hear the

news and prayed that God grants his family and the nation the fortitude to bear the great loss.
