Shocking photos! See what a Delta state couple did to a 13-year old boy residing with them in Delta

The Osubi community in Delta state yesterday handed over Mr Ifeanyi Akpa and his wife(pictured above) to the police in the community for physically assaulting his 13-year old nephew, Chigozie, who resides with them. The community members who witnessed the beating of the little boy and saw how battered his back looked, apprehended the couple and handed them over to the police. 

Activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who shared the photos online, quoted a resident of the

community to have said 'Chigozie does all the domestic work in the house, sells pure water during the day and yet they won't allow the poor boy have peace'.

The Speaker Delta State house of Assembly Hon Oborevwori Sheriff has directed that the boy be taken away from the couple and be given a scholarship.
