Kim Kardashian Is Reportedly 'Absolutely Worried' About Kanye West

Since Kanye West began making headlines for his Twitter activity and pro-Trump political beliefs last week, Kim Kardashian has done her part doing damage control on her own Twitter, calling West a "free thinker." But as new reports from People and Us Weekly say, this doesn't mean she condones his beliefs or isn't worried after his new two-hour interview and buzzy TMZ Live visit yesterday (where he said, among other things, that slavery is "a choice").

A source told People that Kardashian "is absolutely worried about him right now, but she will defend him publicly to the end. She’s a very loyal wife, and her tweets and everything she’s been saying is definitely very calculated to help Kanye.”

“Kanye is the most amazing person when he’s not acting like this," the source also said. "But when he gets manic, it’s really hard for everyone around him."

Kardashian is also very concerned that people will think that she also supports Trump, and that will hurt her brand, according to Us Weekly's source. She publicly endorsed Trump's opponent Hillary Clinton and absolutely does not.

“Kim isn’t mad about [the Trump] tweets,” the source explained. “But she’s worried that people will think she shares the same views. She was worried if she stayed silent, fans would take it as her not having an opinion or agreeing with him."

Thus Kardashian spoke up, writing last week that, "Now when he spoke out about Trump... Most people (including myself) have very different feelings & opinions about this. But this is HIS opinion. I believe in people being able to have their own opinions,even if really different from mine. He never said he agrees with his politics."

Us's source echoed this: “They’ve always had their own opinions and been their own people,” the source said. “This is the Kanye that Kim has always known."
