Photos Of The Stolen Mace Being Returned To The National Assembly By Police

The mace allegedly stolen by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and his thugs has been recovered by the police and returned to the Red Chamber where it belongs.

The stolen mace taken from the Senate Chamber has just been returned to the National Assembly by the police.
Clerk of the National Assembly, Sani Omolori received the Mace from the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of operations at the Force Headquarters, DIG Habila Joshak
alongside the Divisional Police Officer of the National Assembly, Sulu Gambari.
The mace was later taken to the office of the Clerk of the National Assembly.
There are rumours that six suspects have been arrested by the police for stealing the Mace. The suspects would soon be charged to court after investigations are concluded although the police is yet to ascertain this.
