In 1999 two school of thought came into being in Nigerian politics, they are the Progressives (not the party) and the Traditionalist.
The traditionalist argued that what has been done in the past as related to Nigerian politics has been done well and as such we should stick to it.
The progressives, on the other hand, pleaded with Nigerians to look at the antecedents of the colonialist and see if our politics can survive under such condition, they noted that our
