Armed robbery suspect reaches dead end in Warri, butchered into pieces
It was end of the road for an unfortunate armed robbery suspect who met a gruesome end after he was caught during a robbery operation in the wee hours of today.
A vigilante group was able to apprehend him after a long chase of him and two other members of his gang, inflicting high degree of injuries on him.

The gory incident happened in a suburb of Warri, in Delta State, Nigeria. The ill-fated suspect was a member of a three man gang of robbers who stormed the home of a popular nurse in the suburb known as ‘Ishan Nurse’. But luck ran against him as he was caught while the others escaped.
The inhabitants of this community have been complaining of incessant incidents of armed robbery, but this one ran out of luck.
According to the nurse, the armed bandits stormed her home at about 3AM today, scaling through her highly fenced compound using a ladder. Unfortunately for him, the neighbourhood has been on the alert from several incidents of robbery cases they have suffered in recent times.
While they were yet operating, neighbours of the nurse raised alarm which prompted members of the community vigilante group to the scene of the robbery. The gallant vigilante group shot several bullets to the air and the robbers jumped out of the compound, which resulted to a chase. The vigilante and the neighbours gave the robbers a chase but were only able to apprehend one of them; while the other two escaped.
‘Ishan Nurse’ narrating her ordeal said “only last week here, some armed boys came to my house, bundled me and my family members up and carted away with our hard earned money and our valuables”.
She continued that “This night again, they have come again; they entered our compound using a ladder. If not for the alertness in the neighbourhood and the intervention of the community vigilante group, today’s story would have been of the same ill-fortune we have been suffering in this community”.
“Thank God that fate has finally caught up with this one,” she said.
The suspect along with the two other members of his gang, presently on the run, had invaded the home of the nurse in the suburb of Warri. So unfortunately for this one, he was caught by a vigilante group that brutally used machete to chop off his body parts into pieces to serve as deterrent to other robbers in the locality.
Nabbed and beaten to a pulp, the robber has been handed over to the Nigerian Police Force for further investigation.
