Benin Highway accident victim succumbs to her injuries (photo)

Yesterday, I shared photos from a fatal accident that occurred on the Benin-Okada expressway, where a passenger bus went up in flames. (read here). A woman and her child survived the fatal crash and were rushed to the hospital but unfortunately the woman has died. 

Amaka Ofulue Dairo (pictured) was on her way to Lagos with her child to spend Christmas with her aged parents and her siblings. Her daughter is still alive and in UBTH responding to treatment.

These deaths are avoidable deaths. The state of our roads and poor health care system attributed to this loss. May her soul rest in peace, amen
