Did JTF kills 3, recovers explosives, weapons in Delta State ?






The Joint Task Force JTF in the Niger Delta code-named Operation Pulo Shield has killed three suspected militants involved in the dawn attack of Odimodi community last week in Burutu council area of Delta State.

The JTF who destroyed a militant camp at Beniboye on Saturday also arrested one Mr. Ebiwame Lamia, who had earlier escaped from the camp and during investigation confessed that the army killed 3 of the militants in the attack while their leader, Mr. Ayas Abdulrahma Ingo, escaped with serious gunshot wound.

The Commander, Operation Pulo Shield, Maj. Gen. AG Okunola made these revelations yesterday at the 3 Battalion Barracks, Warri while speaking with journalists on the achievements of the JTF in area in its determination to fight against illegal oil bunkering and other illegalities in line with their Zero tolerance campaign.
