Chinese Man Arrested at Kano Airport over Controversial Amount of Money

An Asian man is currently facing trial in court after being nabbed by the EFCC in possession of a suspicious amount of money.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has arrested one Ma Yongbin, 46, a Chinese national, at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.

 

Yongbin was arrested while trying to board Egypt Air to China where he was found to have in his possession undisclosed sum of N305,000 (Three Hundred and Five Thousand Naira Only) all in N5 denomination.

 

According to the anti-graft agency, Investigation is still ongoing.
