Brazilian footballer and former Tottenham Hotspur star, Paulinho, could be deported after he was pictured promoting an illegal betting company with a Japanese porn star in China.
The midfielder who now plays for Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande is likely to be investigated by his Chinese Super League club and authorities after agreeing to endorse Letou, an Asian betting company in China, where betting is illegal.
FIFA and Professional football leagues had earlier imposed a ban on footballers from betting on any football match or having any involvement with the betting industry, but Paulinho’s decision to promote the brand with Tsukasa Aoi, one of the biggest Asian porn stars in the adult movie industry is an offense.
