It is the smallness of our character, that makes a man acquire a thing and think that his life will be better for it. It is so sad. Because, now more than ever, we really need to audit our minds and ensure that we make the best use our mental faculty, for this is very critical.
African youths are not making use of their brains and the ones that do, are left to rot into oblivion. Funny as it may sound, I believe if we tell this generation of Africans that the brain is an app, they just might start to use it.
I read somewhere that humans are being used and things are shown love and affection instead of loving humans and using things.
The independent African youth must breakthroughs the limits of mediocrity, by channeling his resource to the development of his mental faculty.
There are lot of skills in Africa, but our value system has made such skill a nuisance, because to be a Bin-Laden, you must be a project manager of very high capacity, but what Bin-Laden did in 9-11 was a nuisance of skill. Every skill has a potential for good and for evil but what makes the difference is the values those skills springs from.
