Naomi Campbell Reveals 2012 Paris Attack Just Like Kim Kardashian’s

Naomi Campbell reveals she had a similar experience to Kim Kardashian West in Paris because she, too, was almost robbed in 2012.

“I sympathize with her a lot… because in 2012, I was attacked in Paris,” Campbell said on the “Wendy Williams Show” on Thursday.


“They followed me from the airport,” she added. “They attacked me — they opened my car door and said ‘Naomi Campbell, we’re going to kill you.’ I didn’t make it so public. I didn’t want it to be. I think there’s a picture of me in a wheelchair at the time.”

She explained, “I didn’t call security — it was a quick trip. I was going to see my lovely papa, Azzedine Alaïa. I went to the car, and it wasn’t my normal driver. And it was weird because he had the window rolled down… It was freezing cold in November. I was like, ‘Wait a minute! This is weird.'”

According to reports, Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint in her rented apartment in Paris on Oct. 3. The thieves stole millions of dollars in goods from Kardashian, including jewelry. The reality star was tied up by armed robbers and was locked in a bathroom.

When the robbery took place, many skeptics called it a “publicity stunt” on social media.

“I very much sympathize for [Kardashian West], and I felt for her right away,” Campbell said. “And I hated hearing these stories that it wasn’t true. It was absolutely true, and it happened to me.”
