Russell Crowe cleared in Azealia Banks case regarding racial slur and hotel fight

According to E! News the Los Angeles District Attorney won't be pursing prosecution of Russell Crowe in an alleged hotel fight involving Azealia Banks due to lack of sufficient evidence. Banks had accused Crowe of spitting in her face, calling her a nig*a and pushing her. Her friend, RZA, who invited her to Crowe's hotel room for a little private party, denied her accusations and so did Crowe.

According to legal documents obtained those present at the dinner and other eyewitnesses stated that Banks was actually the "assaultive party," not Crowe.

Azealia Banks had filed a police report against the Oscar-winning actor following an alleged fight that transpired at a Beverly Hills hotel.

RZA stood by Crowe's side in the aftermath of Banks' claims.
