Sunday morning update from the Los Angeles County Fire Department. However, no injuries have been reported, deputy Mike Baraza, a Los Angeles sheriff's spokesman, tells PEOPLE.
The 516-acre blaze, named "Old Fire," has been 30 percent contained, according to the latest
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the fire was sparked Saturday afternoon – about 4:15 p.m. local time on Mulholland Highway in Calabasas – after, witnesses said, a pickup truck drove into a power pole, knocking the transformer to the ground and causing it to explode.
One "commercial-type" building was destroyed in the fire while two residences took minor damage, according to the fire department. Calabasas residents were set to return to their homes at 2 a.m. local time Sunday, according to the fire department, though an evacuation for nearby Topanga remained in effect.
Likely lost in the flames was much of the land used by a new summer camp opening out of the Mountains Restoration Trust, according to the Los Angeles Times: Camp Wildcraft owner Shari Davis told the paper, "I am kind of in despair at the moment."
"It looks like the whole area could be destroyed," she said.
"This was the first camp we were starting and everything was going so well with so much excitement and enthusiasm," she said. "We need to figure out a way to move ahead."
Calabasas, a tony western suburb of Los Angeles, is also home to several celebrities, some of whom shared their real-time experiences with the fire on social media.
Three members of the Kardashian-Jenner family took to Snapchat to document the blaze.Kendall Jenner shared a photo of the encroaching plumes of smoke, while younger sisterKylie Jenner wondered, "Am I going to have to evacuate?"
Not to worry, big sister Khloé Kardashian replied, via her own Snap: "No, Kylie, you won't have to evacuate, because it's closer to my house than yours, sadly, so let's pray nobody has to evacuate."

"Sending thanks to Portia's brother Michael & all the rescue workers on the scene of this dangerous fire in Calabasas," she tweeted.
