An obese monkey in Bangkok, Thailand has been checked into the primate equivalent of boot camp to help him lose some weight. After seeing the pictures posted online, primate conservation group Monkey Lovers, went last Thursday to check on the big eater's health. He likes eating and there are lots of visitors who give him food all day,"  said the group's Kawinoat Mongkholtechaphat, adding that the monkey might not survive if he continues eating like that.

A California father accused of leaving his baby in the car to get  Lap dances at a Strip Club has been jailed for 10days. Auwin Dargin who appeared before a Los Angeles court  on Wednesday  was on the 9th of March, 2016, arrested for leaving his 9month old baby daughter in a car for 43 minutes while he visited Synn Gentlemen’s Club in North Hills to buy lap dances, according to prosecutors. The court also heard that the employees of the club and neighboring businesses discovered the sweating and crying baby girl inside the vehicle about  2 p.m.  and rescued her before they contacted the police.

72-year-old Darlene Mullins, a grandmother-of-four will be among the 800 students to graduate from Tennessee State University, TSU, on the  6th of May.  Darlene will be receiving her degree 55 good years after she started at the institution. Darlene began her studies in TSU campus in 1962, however, almost immediately, she fell in love with fellow student John Mullins, a senior from East St. Louis, Illinois, who she described as dashing, handsome and “everything to behold".

A Black woman was delivered of a baby boy on a train at the busy London Bridge station  on Thursday  evening, April 27. She, whose name is not yet known, went into labour on a Southeastern train before being helped onto the platform when it arrived at London Bridge. Realising the baby was on the way, an announcement was made for doctors and nurses to attend,before she was moved to a medical room. She gave birth to her son shortly after  4.30pm. Dean Parsons, 43, an information assistant at Southeastern Railway, told Evening Standard:

An unusual family drama played out on Caso Cerrado, Spains's version of Judge Rinder, a TV court show that oversees a variety of cases on air. The husband, Alejandro, brought his wife, Tania, before the TV show host, Ana Maria Polo. Alejandro informed the host and others present that he walked in on his wife getting intimate with her adoptive mother and that prior to that, she had always refused to have sex with him. Malaysia Police on Thursday, April 27, said they arrested a Nigerian cook after he was found to be in possession of cannabis worth RM2,000. A five-year-old boy was reportedly almost killed after a pencil impaled his chest and narrowly missed puncturing a major artery in his heart. The boy, whose name was not revealed, reportedly tripped while holding the pencil when he fell on it.
