2016 Yahoo Fantasy Baseball open for you to sign up for the season

Army apprehends wanted Boko Haram kingpin in Sapele

A middle-aged man suspected to be a member of the Boko Haram sect has been apprehended in Sapele , Delta, by officers of the 19 Battalion of Nigerian Army.

The suspect, Bukar Abacha, was arrested shortly after he arrived the popular Hausa quarters in Sapele.

A senior army officer who did not want his name mentioned, said on Thursday that a member of the Arewa community gave the information to“Operation Pulo Shield.’’

Three corpses were found and exhumed from a building site at Ugwuaji area of Enugu on the Enugu - Portharcourt Expressway yesterday Monday Jan. 25th. The corpses were buried inside the foundation of the building allegedly owned by a church which is under construction and totally covered with concrete.

According to unconfirmed sources, one of the workers at the site who heard about what had happened to the three men alerted the police, who came to exhume the bodies. Doctors in Port Harcourt protest over incessant kidnappings of colleagues

Members of the Nigerian Medical Association staged a protest yesterday over the increased rate of abduction of medical practitioners in the state. L.A. to pay $24 million to 2 men who spent decades in jail for murders they did not commit

Los Angeles will pay more than $24 million to two men who spent decades in prison after they were wrongfully convicted of murder, officials said.

Kash Delano Register won his freedom in 2013 after lawyers and students from Loyola Law School doubted a key prosecution witness’s testimony.

He was awarded $16.7 million by the Los Angeles City Council on Tuesday. It is the largest settlement in an individual civil rights case in the city’s history, according to reports.
